Welcome to Park View Auto Rentals (“Park View”) Web Site (the “Site”). This Site is intended to be an information resource for Web site visitors and our clients. This privacy policy is intended to inform visitors of the ways in which this Site collects information and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect information which visitors provide. For example, users may provide us their e-mail addresses to request information, or send us their mailing addresses so we may send materials or information that visitors have requested. In this way, we may collect the following information about our visitors: name, title, business address and telephone number, product usage and attitudes, as well as preferences for content, numbers of visits and length of time spent on the Site. Visitors whose businesses are Park View retail store clients can register for our eBusiness applications. Registered users may be asked to provide additional information about their businesses.

We use the information our visitors provide to respond to questions or requests regarding Park View companies (the “Park View Companies”), our products and services, or our Site; to improve Site content; and to send visitors periodic mailings and/or e-mails or call visitors about Park View services and products or upcoming events.

In the course of such monitoring, these programs may detect such information as e-mail headers, addresses from network packets, and other information. Information from these activities is used only for the purpose of maintaining the security and performance of Park View’s networks and computer systems.

Use of Personal Information

The personal information we maintain will be held by Park View and may be used by Park View, other companies within the Park View group (details of which are available on request), or Park View’s agents, partners or licensees. We do not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute visitor information without visitors’ consent, except to the extent required by law, in accordance with visitors’ instructions, or as set out below

Agents and Service Providers.

* We sometimes contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions or services on our behalf, such as hosting this Site, sending e-mail messages, and making phone calls on our behalf. They may have access to personal information, such as addresses, needed to perform their functions, but are restricted from using it for purposes other than providing services for Park View.

Business Transfers.

* As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy assets. In such transactions, Web site visitor information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Therefore, if either Park View itself or substantially all of Park View assets were acquired, visitor information may be one of the transferred assets.

Legal Matters.

* Park View reserves the right to disclose any information about visitors and their use of this Site without prior permission if Park View has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Park View or its affiliates or subsidiaries, other users of this Site, or the public; (b) enforce the Terms of Use for this Site; or (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties. Information Security

All information gathered on our Site is securely stored within the Park View-controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall and access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited. However, as effective as our security measures are, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that visitor information will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. We ask that visitors do their part, by maintaining strictly confidential any computer passwords and eBusiness usernames and passwords used to access the Internet or this Site.

Storage and Access to Information

This Site and all information collected through this Site is collected, stored, and processed in the United States and Canada.

You can ask to review the information that we maintain about you or to correct, update, or delete any inaccurate information that we maintain about you at any time. Your request must be submitted in writing. We may take a reasonable period of time to respond. If you request the deletion or change of inaccurate information on our system, such information may be retained for a period in our backup systems as a precaution against systems failures. Some information may be retained for longer periods as required by law, contract or auditing requirements.

Your Information and Opting-Out

If you do not wish to receive telephone contact or periodic mailings or emails concerning new products and services or upcoming events, you may opt-out of receiving such information by sending us a written request to the address listed below or by following the opt-out instructions in an e-mail you receive from us.

Links are provided on the Park View web site to third party vendors and other company sites that are not affiliated with Park View. Any web site visited via a link from this site is solely the responsibility of the vendor, merchant, or other party providing the site. Any transactions that you enter into with a vendor, merchant or other party listed in this site or linked from this site are solely between you and that vendor, merchant or other party.

Data obtained through the short code program will not be shared with any third-parties for their marketing reasons/purposes.

This privacy policy was last updated on January 1, 2026. We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do so, changes in our privacy policy will be effective immediately. If you are a regular visitor to this Site, we recommend that you check this privacy policy on a regular basis.

RENTAL POLICIES


What is the minimum booking age?


Our minimum booking age is 21 years old. A security deposit or underage fee may be applied if applicable.

 

What are your rental requirements?

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Credit or debit card for payment

 

How many miles are included with my rental?


For all rentals, we allow 150 miles per day. Any additional miles will be charged at $0.30 per mile.

Unlimited mileage can be added as a cart item to a rental at an additional cost.

 

Can I extend my trip?


Yes, you can always extend before your current booking expires. You will be charged for additional rates and sent an invoice for charges after your trip ends.

 

Do you offer long term rental discounts?


Yes, rentals for a month or longer can be discounted from 25% – 45% depending on length. Contact us before you book for details.


Do you allow out of state rentals?


Out of state rentals permitted would only cover Nevada. We do not allow rentals to any other state or location.

 

Do you allow one-way rentals?


No, we do not allow one-way rentals for any of our vehicles.


What happens if I don’t show up for my reservation?


If the guest does not show up within 45 minutes of their reserved time, we may cancel the reservation with no refund.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation period:

  • 24 hours before your trip starts; or Two hours after booking if you booked less than 24 hours in advance
  • If you cancel during the free period: Full refund of all trip costs.
  • If you cancel outside the free period: You will be refunded 75% of the total cost of the trip.

    PVAR reserves the right to cancel any trips that to not meet rental requirements or present a high risk. In these cases, alternative rental avenues may be suggested.

INSURANCE AND PROTECTION

Do I need my own insurance to rent?

No. While it’s best that renters have a current and active policy with at least minimum liability insurance, we can provide insurance for your rental through a third-party provider at an additional cost. You would need to add insurance as an additional cart item in your booking.

 

When adding insurance there are two options:

  • Collision Damage Warranty (CDW): Covers physical damages to the rental vehicle when there is an accident with another vehicle.
  • Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI) Covers damage to 3rd parties’ property and injury when renter is at fault in accident. Does not cover rental vehicle.

 

Collision Damage Warranty is the minimum coverage needed when insurance is needed for your rental. Keep in mind you as the renter will be responsible for any damage in an incident whether at fault or otherwise.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept debit cards, credit cards, and major payment methods through our secure system.

 

What is your security deposit policy?


Depending on renter profile (underage, risk, etc.) A standard $250 deposit may be requested after confirming your rental and will be charged on your credit/debit card until the return of the rental vehicle. The deposit will be refunded after the return of the rental vehicle, less any incidental charges incurred (gas, additional miles, tolls, unpaid citations, insurance deductible, rental extensions, or all other applicable fees per the accepted terms of the rental agreement).

Luxury models may require a higher security deposit.

Can I add an additional driver to my rental?


Yes, you can add an additional driver who is not listed on your personal auto insurance policy, such as a friend, spouse or family member at no charge. The additional driver must meet the same rental requirements as the primary driver. The additional drivers license must be submitted. You as the primary renter are still responsible for any issues or damage during the rental period.

 Do you have any extra or hidden fees?

No extra hidden fees or unnecessary charges. The fees we include are essential to remain compliant, legal, and operationally effective. This allows us to continue providing the best service while keeping our pricing transparent and straightforward.

Here is a transparent breakdown of our fees:

CA Sales Tax (7.25%)

The sales tax is a standard charge applied to all car rental transactions. This is the standard 7.25% tax requirement in Los Angeles, CA and is added to the total cost of your rental.

In addition, the LA County District Tax of (2.5%) will be included.

 Processing Fee (2.5%)

The 2.5% processing fee covers the administrative costs related to managing your reservation, processing payments, and maintaining the seamless operation of our rental services.
